近代云南对外开放格局的形成及其历史意义

Formation of the opening-up pattern in Yunnan in early modern times and its historical significance

在近代特殊的历史条件下,由于英、法、日等帝国主义国家的侵略和渗透,使云南被动成为中国西南对外开放的前沿。而云南人民积极应对,不断通过自身努力变困境为顺境,化危机为转机,在极其困难的条件下充分利用各种条件主动对外开放,将云南建设成为中国西南对外开放的中心。在近代云南对外开放的过程中充分利用地缘优势,将近代南亚、东南亚殖民地国家的近代交通条件整合纳入自身对外开放格局之中,形成了以各个商埠为支点,以两条近代交通干线为支撑,三个中心集镇群为纽带的层级开放体系;形成了主要面向欧美市场,外联内引的开放型通道经济发展路径。

In the special period of early modern times, the invasion and penetration of the lmperialist countries like Britain, France and Japan made Yunnan China＇ s southwest front of the opening-up to the outside world. During this period, the people in Yunnan actively engaged in the challenges and made Yunnan the very front of southwest China＇ s opening-up to the outside world by turning the difficulties and crises into opportunities. Yunnan in this period took advantage of its geographic vantage point and integrated the transportation means of the South Asian and Southeast Asian countries with its own, which helped form a hierarchical opening-up framework for its economic development supported by two major transportation lines and three town hubs plus all the trading ports, that is, an integrated approach to the European and American markets.
