Antoaia's Family is a classic philosophical female movie, which dispays images of pastoral style. Behind this style of poetry is life philosophy of Chopenhauer's pessimism of signifying practice. The movie shows the director' s personal understanding of life philosophy by setting up some plots related to death and superrealism. Marlene Griess, directoe of the movie, shaped a series of fe- male images represented by Antonia, who reflected tenderness of female sentiment and had a wealth of feminist implications.
