摘要 对于我国来说,英语作为外语教学实践经历了悠久的过去,但作为课程的理论研究只有短暂的历史。英语作为一门课程,在教与学的过程中需要经过集体传统和个体历史经验的筛选。因此,英语课程的本土化建设显得十分重要,也十分迫切。章兼中教授历经数十年,进行了艰苦卓越的理论研究、实验探索和实践验证,构建了中国英语课程与教学理论研究的框架和基础,在此基础上形成了《英语课程与教学论》一书。该书理论性与实践性并蓄,基础性与学术性相融,指导性与操作性结合,对英语师范生、在职中小学教师和英语教育研究者都有非常重要的参考价值。 In China, it has a long history for English taught as a foreign language, but a short past for its theory construction and study as a curriculum. English, as a course, needs the selection of collective tradition and individual experience in the process of teaching and learning. Therefore, it is significant and urgent for the localization of English curriculum and school-based construction. Professor Zhang Jianzhong has been devoting himself to the theory, experiment and practice of English teaching for decades, making a framework and background of English curriculum and pedagogy in China. The book English Curriculum and Pedagogy is his masterpiece based on years of working. This book combines theory and practice, foundation and academy, guidance and operation, which is of great helpfulness for the preservice English teachers, in-service English teachers and the researchers of English teaching.
