A Study on the Strategy of Intellectual Property Securitization Financing in Biotechnology Industry

生物技术产业作为战略性新兴产业之一,融资难成为其发展过程中面临的重大瓶颈。但生物技术产业拥有较多知识产权类无形资产,因此知识产权融资成为其融资的一种创新融资方式。文章基于知识产权证券化的视角,认为生物技术产业知识产权证券化融资具有降低融资成本、有效分散风险和促进科技成果转化的优势,分析生物技术产业知识产权证券化融资动力,探讨生物技术产业知识产权证券化融资策略,以期促进生物技术产业的快速发展。

As a strategic emerging industry, biotechnology industry has faced financing difficulties in its developing process. However, bioteehnology industry has a number of intellectual property assets, therefore the intellectual property rights financing has become an innovative financing way for the biotechnology industry. Based on the perspective of intellectual property securitization, this paper pointed out that intellectual property securitization financing in biotechnology industry can reduce the cost of financing, spread risk effectively and promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. And this article focused on the impetus of intellectual property securitization financing in biotechnology industry in order to promote the quick development of biotechnology industry.
