在高等教育发展和能源行业转型升级的新形势下,作为煤炭行业特色高校,河南理工大学围绕"双一流"建设目标,科学谋划办学定位、深化教育教学、学科建设、科技工作、内部治理体系等关键领域综合改革,着力建设一流本科教育和一流学科,学校人才培养质量、科学研究水平、社会服务能力和文化传承创新能力不断提升。

Under the new situation of the development of higher education and the transforma- tion and upgrading of the energy industry, as one of the universities in coal mining industry, Henan Polytechnic University according to the ＂Double First-rate＂ construction target designs scientific school-running orientation; and deepens the comprehensive reform in the following key fields： education and teaching, discipline construction, science and technology work, and the internal governance system. It puts forth effort on the construction of first-rate graduate education and first-rate discipline, and the unceasing promotion of talent cultivation quality, the level of scientific research, social service ability, and cultural inheritance and innovation ability.
