中国企业对东非共同体投资的现状及其影响

Chinese Companies' Investment in East African Community:Status and Influences

随着中非关系快速深入发展,中国与非洲大陆各次区域组织的合作日益重要。东非共同体以其较快的地区一体化进程、较小的经济发展水平差距、相同的斯瓦希里文化及与中国关系的全面发展,成为中国企业投资非洲的重要目的地。通过援助、收购、合并等多种形式,中国企业主要对东非共同体的农业、工业和矿业三个领域进行了大量投资,促进了东非共同体成员国将资源优势转化为发展优势,为当地创造了更多的就业机会,提高了东非区域的技术水平,为当地经济社会发展贡献了重要力量。尽管如此,中国企业在东非共同体的投资仍面临着许多挑战。通过利用态势分析法,本文研究了中国企业在东非共同体成员国投资的优势、劣势、机会以及面临的威胁,认为可通过与"一带一路"倡议的落实相结合,推动中国企业在东非共同体投资的全面发展。

With the rapid development of China-Africa relations, China and African sub-regional economic blocs cooperation is becoming increasingly important. The East African Community with its fastest growing regional integration, smaller disparities in economic development levels between the member states, same Swahili culture background, is becoming an important destination for Chinese companies' foreign direct investment. Through aid, acquisition, merger and other forms of cooperation, Chinese companies' investments in EAC members are mostly seen in key areas such as agriculture,industry, and mining, which are boosting all member states' economic growth, especially promoting their resource advantage into development advantage, creating more job opportunities, improving locals technical skills, in order to strengthen cooperation with the region. Nevertheless, Chinese companies investing in EAC members are facing many challenges. SWOT analysis is used in this article to point out and analyze Chinese companies' strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats in EAC members.The Belt and Road Initiative can be a major promoter of the development of Chinese companies investing in the region.
