中美环境史研究对话的可能性——反思2016年美国环境史学会年会

The Possibility of Dialogue between Sino-US Environmental History Research:Reflections on the 2016 Annual Meeting of the American Environmental History Association

2016年美国环境史学会年会于3月30日至4月2日在西雅图召开,会上来自世界各地的学者各抒己见,共同展现了国际环境史学界的最新理论动态和学术前沿。会议坚守与创新并举,学界业已成熟、耳熟能详的论题在引入新的视角和个案后,理论深度不断拓展。诸如宏大的全球环境史叙事与微观的地方性知识、工业污染问题的拓展和新的价值关怀、环境史研究的旨趣与历史学的本真、民族性与史学认知思维差异等议题可谓推陈出新。环境史的公共性和知识传播与转换的数字化、美国环境史研究的时空拓展及环境史、感观史、心理史学的结合等,彰显着环境史的新动向和研究者强烈的探索精神与创新意识。中国环境史研究在此次大会上有着自身特别的景致,既激发了彼此如何对话的诸多思考,又明晰了未来双赢和共同发展的路径。

Held in Seattle from March 30 th to April 2nd in 2016,the United States environmental history annual meeting aroused scholars from around the world to express their opinions and show the latest dynamic of theory and academic frontier on international environmental historians. The meeting has brought forth the new through the old on such topics as the macro narrative of global environmental history and micro local knowledge,expansion of the industrial pollution and the new value concern,the purport of the environmental history and the truth and nationality of the history,together with the difference of cognitive thinking in history. Chinese environmental history research has expressed its own special views in the meeting,which not only inspired many thoughts on how to talk with each other,but also cleared the path of win- win and common development in the future.
