The crisis of drinking water presents a serious challenge to the contemporary world. It is not only related to the development of globalization, social justice, and science and technology, but also has a more close connection to public health and the survival of mankind. Women, especially poverty-stricken women in developing countries have been direct victims of the crisis of drinking water. The issue of women and drinking water has become an important topic of gender studies nowadays. Drinking water not only carries the history of the development of civilization, but also reflects the realities of the construction of different social systems and policies. Meanwhile, drinking water will exert influence on advancement of human society in the future. There is no doubt that as a medium of gender studies in the field of ethics, drinking water will be conductive to build an equal and just world by bringing up new ideas and opening up new paths.
