平面设计兼具实用性与艺术性两个属性,实用性是平面设计的物质属性,是所设计实物体现的主要功能和追求目标,艺术性是平面设计的精神属性,则着重强调艺术审美及精神内涵。优秀的平面设计作品,必然是实用性与艺术性的有机结合、完美融洽。然而长期以来,人们对于设计过于追求其中的某一特性而易忽视两者之间辩证统一的关系。设计原本是赋予一个物体实用性与艺术性的过程,在这个过程当中要把握两者之间的平衡并非易事。文章将从平面设计中实用性与艺术性出发,阐述两者之间辩证统一的关系,并结合个人实践经验所引发的思考,以期能够引导人们树立正确的平面设计意识。
