Expression and Clinical Significance of CD44 and CD133 in Tongue Squamous Cell Carcinoma

摘要 目的探讨舌鳞状细胞癌组织中肿瘤干细胞标志物CD44和CD133的表达与临床病理特征及预后的关系。方法应用免疫组化法观察67例舌鳞状细胞癌组织中CD44和CD133的表达状况。结果 CD44和CD133在舌鳞状细胞癌患者中的阳性表达率分别为58.21%(39/67)和65.67%(44/67);CD44,CD133的表达均与患者年龄、性别无关(P>0.05),但与组织分化程度、临床分期及淋巴结转移相关(P<0.05);单因素分析显示:CD44的阳性表达和CD133的阳性表达均与患者5年生存率存在相关性(P<0.05);Cox多因素分析显示:组织分化程度、CD44的阳性表达及CD133的阳性表达是患者生存的独立预后影响因素(P<0.05)。结论CD44,CD133在舌鳞状细胞癌中的表达与患者的恶性生物学行为有关,可作为预后评价的参考标准。 Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of CD44 and CD133 in tongue squamous cell carcinoma(TSCC}. Methods The expression of CD44 and CD133 in 67 cases of tongue squamous cell carcinoma were observed by immunohistochemical method. Results The positive expression rate of CD44 and CD133 in patients with tongue squamous cell carcinoma were respectively 58.21% ( 39/67 ) and 65.67% (44/67 ). The expression of CD44,CD133 had no relation with the patientg age and sex(P 〉0.05) ,hut was significantly correlated with the de- gree of histology differentiation, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis of patients ( P 〈 0.05 ). Single factor analysis showed that the positive expression of CD44 and the positive expression of CD133 were correlated with the 5-year survival rate ( P 〈 0.05 ). Cox multivariate analysis showed that the degree of histological differentiation, CD44 positive expression rate and CD133 positive expression rate were the independent prognostic factors for survival patients(P 〈 0.05 ).
