Through reading the related literature of information adoption field, this paper expounds the development process of the research of information adoption behavior, and based on Brooks Information Science Thought, probes into information users＇ information adoption behavior, and from the angles of the ＂Three Worlds＂ thought, research objectives, information science equations, and research methods, etc., discusses the direction of and some matters needing attention in information adoption behavior research.
