申奥成功背景下张家口外宣翻译的语用分析

Pragmatic Analysis of the Translation for Publicity in Zhangjiakou with Its Successful Olympic Bid

随着京张联合申办冬奥会的成功,其外宣翻译工作越来越重要,通过外宣材料可以让世界人民更好地了解张家口,但语用失误的存在使外宣材料的理解不是那么顺畅,因此在翻译的过程中应该加入语用分析,在充分熟知目的语文化背景的情况下,采用顺应目的语读者习惯的表达方式对原文信息进行重构,以期获得更好地翻译效果,提升张家口的对外形象。

As Beijing and Zhangjiakou have won the right to host the 2022 Winter Olympic Games,the Chi- nese-English translation for publicity becomes increasingly important. Foreign publicity will contributes to a better un- derstanding of Zhangjiakou worldwide. Yet pragmatic failure stands in the way of it. Thus,in the process of translation pragmatic analysis should be taken into consideration. In order to better the quality of translation and promote the image of Zhangjiakou,the original information should be reconstructed to adapt to the native speakers＇ idiomatic.ways of saying things with a comprehensive knowledge of the target language.
