The Impact of Diversified Development of Public Service Enterprises on the Enterprise Revenue

以2007-2014年公用事业类上市公司面板数据为样本,实证分析了企业多元化经营对经济效益与社会效益的双重影响。结果表明,我国公用事业类上市公司多元化经营水平对其经济效益呈显著正影响。对社会效益的影响存在差异,多元化可促进企业捐赠,但对就业的影响作用甚微。

Taking the 2007-2014 panel data of publicly listed enterprises engaging in public services as a sample, the empirical study analyzes the impact of diversified development of enterprises on both the economic benefit and social benefit. The result shows that the di-versified operation level of the enterprises exerts prominent positive influence to the economic benefit and the influence to social benefit is different. Diversification could facilitate corporate donation, but could exert little influence to the employment rate.
