国内环境污染与对外直接投资——基于韩国道(市)际面板数据的实证检验

Environment Pollution and Outflow Foreign Direct Investment:Evidence from South Korea Province(City) Panel Data Empirically Test

关于环境规制与企业对外直接投资(OFDI)问题的研究,一直是国际贸易、国际合作和国际经营研究的热点和焦点。目前,学术界研究集中于不同东道国的环境规制对企业进行OFDI选择对象国的影响和OFDI对于东道国环境所带来的逆向作用;而对某个国家内部不同区域的环境约束、不同贸易水平与该区域OFDI关系的研究相对较少。文章从母国层面出发,基于韩国2000-2015年各道(市)面板数据,在静态和动态面板模型的基础上检验了韩国各道(市)的环境污染、贸易水平、劳动力成本与各道(市)OFDI之间的关系,并得出韩国各道(市)环境污染、贸易开放度与OFDI存在显著正相关的结论。

It is always a hot issue about the relationship between environmental regulation and outflow foreign direct investment （OFDI） in international trade, intemational cooperation and intemational business. However, most researches focus on the different environment regulation influence of host country for foreign enterprises＇ OFDI choosing, or the adverse effect for host country＇s environment which is brought by the OFDI. Few studies focus on the variables such as home country＇s environmental regulation, openness level, wage rate. This study examined the relationship between environmental pollution, trade openness and OFDI by using South Korea provincial date during the year 2000-2015 and two panel regression models. The result is that both environmental regulation and export take positively effect in both static and dynamic panel Model.
