This paper is on the application of the flipped classroom in English intensive reading course. The flipped classroom can change the teachers and students＇dilemma, elevate the learning efficiency of this course and stimulate students＇self - learn- ing ability. But the problems, such as the design of the video are still needed to be discussed in the future.
