从认知隐喻角度探讨汉语成语的手语翻译教学 被引量:4

On Chinese Idioms' Sign Language Translation Teaching from the Perspective of Cognitive Metaphors

摘要 汉语成语是手语翻译的一个难点。本研究从认知隐喻的角度探讨成语的内在语言机制,以期拓展成语手语翻译的路径,提高手语翻译教学的效果。手语翻译实践中,译者要根据成语特点合理选择异化或归化策略,尽可能准确地传递成语信息。在汉语成语的手语翻译教学中,教师要通过引导学生准确理解成语语义,重视培养学生的手语隐喻思维,创设情境反复练习,结合文化教学等途径切实提高学生手语翻译的能力。 Chinese idioms are a difficult point in the translation of sign language. This study, based on cognitive metaphors, aims to explore the internal language mechanism of idioms so as to expand the approaches to id- iom translation and raise the effect of sign language translation teaching. The author concludes the following: In the practice of sign language translation, the interpreter should, based on the characteristics of the idioms given, choose such strategies as alienation or domestication, and convey the information as accurately as possible; in Chinese idioms' sign language translation teaching, teachers should guide students to accurately understand idioms' semantics, pay attention to the training of students' metaphorical thinking, ask them to do repeated practice under the proper language context created, and use culture teaching and other methods to improve students' abili- ty in sign language translation.
