Active Learning and Cultivation of Students' Critical Thinking

培养思辨能力早已成为美国高等教育的重要目标,思辨能力是学生学业和今后事业的关键。主动学习是培养思辨能力的有效途径。主动学习与主动教学密不可分,积极参与是主动学习的关键。本文提出了学生如何主动学习以提高思辨能力:(1)对阅读的文章提问题。(2)发现作业的目的。(3)把你正在学的和你已经学的知识联系起来。(4)努力去寻找每篇文章与单元主题的关系。

Cultivation of students＇ critical thinking has been an important goal of American high education for a long time. Critical thinking is the key for students＇ school performance and career in the future. Active learning is an effective way to improve critical learning. Active learning and active teaching go hand in hand. Active participation is very important for active learning. This thesis aims to find ways to learn actively to improve critical thinking.（1）ask questions about the article you are reading.（2）find out the purpose of homework.（3）connect what you are learning with what you have learned.（4）try to find out the connection between every article and the topic of the unit.
