翻译研究的问题意识与学科边际

The Problematic Awareness and Disciplinary Boundary of Translation Studies

翻译研究作为一门独立的学科,显然并不成熟,因此要有自身的问题意识和学科边际。研究翻译的视角可以多种多样,但翻译研究学科却不可采取"泛翻译"或者"泛学科"的姿态,应该着力加强学科自身的建设,不能因为翻译的复杂性以及翻译研究的跨学科性而无限扩大翻译研究的学科范畴与边际。本文认为,翻译研究的学科独立,其目的不是为了用翻译研究来取代比较文学研究、文化研究、语言研究等人文社会科学研究,而是为了翻译本身的健康发展。翻译研究的问题意识应该关注翻译实践和教学,并围绕此二者加强学科自身理论体系建设。

As an independent discipline,Translation Studies is far from maturity.Therefore,it requires problematic awareness and disciplinary boundary.It is true that the approaches to Translation Studies can be of varieties,but it does not mean endless translation studies or pan-discipline.Instead of endless expanding its disciplinary boundary,Translation Studies should focus on problems of its own disciplinary system.The author of this paper argues that the independence of Translation Studies is not for the purpose of replacing other disciplines such as comparative literature studies,culture studies or linguistics,but for sound development of translation,which means that Translation Studies should focus on translation practice and translation education on its way of disciplinary systematization.
