关于中国大学生跨文化交际能力的实证研究——以对外经贸大学学生为例 被引量:2

摘要 随着世界全球化和一体化进程的不断推进,"跨文化交际能力"成为当代大学生的重要能力之一。然而,目前关于中国大学生跨文化交际能力的相关研究却多采用描述性统计方法,单独从英语学科的角度进行分析,且将英语专业和非英语专业学术进行对比分析的还较少。所以,通过对113名对外经贸大学学生的问卷调查,研究发现:目前,中国大学生的"跨文化交际能力"总体处于中上等水平,对中外知识都有所了解,尤其是中国文化知识,但对跨文化交际知识的了解相对较少;大学生们普遍拥有积极的跨文化交际态度,但交际主动性稍差;跨文化交际技能也处在较高水平,仅对外语能力和交流技巧相对缺乏自信。此外,在跨文化交际能力培养过程中还存在诸如大学生与外国人接触的机会较少,海外经历对能力提升的帮助不显著,国内英语考试对学生能力的重视和考查不足,以及外语类专业大学生能力不突出等问题。 As the development of globalization and global integration, "intercultural communication competence (ICC)" has become one of the essential abilities of college students. However, many previous studies on the ICC of Chinese college students only used descriptive statistical analysis, and adopted the perspective of English education. Also few studies compared the ICC of English majors and that of non-English majors. Therefore, based on a survey of 113 students in UIBE, Beijing, it has shown that currently the ICC of Chinese college students are at a middle-to-high level. They have a good understanding of both Chinese and foreign cultural knowledge, especially the former, while they are less familiar with the knowledge of intercultural communication. The students generally have a positive attitude towards intercultural communication, yet they prefer to be passive participants in interactions. Moreover, they have shown a good performance in ICC skills, but lack confidence in English proficiency and communication skills, in addition, other problems in the training of the ICC of college students include: insufficient opportunities to communicate with.foreigners, ineffectiveness of overseas experience in ICC improvement, inadequate testing of ICC in domestic English examinations, and mediocre ICC level of English majors.
