高校图书馆学科服务滞后原因分析及改进措施

Cause Analysis of Subject Service Lagging in University Libraries and the Improvement Measures

国内高校图书馆学科服务相对滞后,主要是由于高校主要领导认识偏差、图书馆馆长学非专长、图书馆宣传力度不够、学科馆员综合素质偏低及管理制度缺失、馆藏质量不高、地域局限等原因。要改变国内高校图书馆学科服务滞后的现状,需要从改变高校主要领导传统观念、图书馆馆长用当其人、图书馆加大宣传力度、提高学科馆员综合素质并完善相关管理制度、提高馆藏质量、克服地域局限等方面着手。

The subject services of domestic university libraries lags behind, which is caused by many reasons, such as main leaders’ lack of correct awareness, unprofessional directors of libraries, insufficient publicity, low comprehensive quality of librarians, unreasonable management system, poor quality of library collections and geographical limitations. The subject services of domestic university libraries can be improved from the following aspects. The university leaders must change their traditional attitudes towards library subject services, and the directors of libraries should be well chosen. The publicity of libraries should be increased, and the librarians’ comprehensive quality should be improved. Also, the related management system should be perfected, and the attention should be paid to poor quality of library collections and geographical limitations.
