On Dialectically Thinking about Translation Teaching for English Majors

英语专业翻译教学中包含翻译理论与翻译实践、文学翻译与实用翻译、语言教学与翻译教学和个体思维与集体思维几对矛盾,运用辩证法原理辨析相关性,把握规律性,用以指导翻译教学,从而全面、灵活、辩证地思考翻译教学中出现的问题,避免翻译教学中的盲目性、片面性,克服思路窄、教得死的毛病,以取得良好的教学实效。

We believe that there exist several dialectical relations as translation theory and translation practice,literary translation and practical translation,language teaching and translation teaching,individual thinking and collective thinking,etc.in translation teaching for English majors.By using dialectical principles to analyze the correlation and grasp the regularity and to guide translation teaching,we may have a close look at the problems appearing in translation teaching comprehensively,flexibly and dialectically,avoiding the blindness and one-sidedness,overcoming narrow-thought and stiffness in translation teaching so that teaching effectiveness may be achieved.
