Development of Virtual Teaching System in Field Practice of Botany

摘要 基于三维激光扫描技术,通过虚拟漫游开发植物学野外实习虚拟仿真教学系统。利用三维激光扫描获取实习路线,包括乔木、灌木和草本在内约150种植物的真实三维点云数据,在三维数据处理平台导入点云数据后,整合这些植物的位置坐标、测量数据和清晰形态特征图等内容,并配上语音讲解和文字介绍,最终实现虚拟漫游。完成了东北林业大学帽儿山国家森林公园老爷岭国家级生态定位站的一条长达1 km的实习路线的虚拟教学系统的开发,给用户真实的体验,实现虚拟教学。 Based on 3D laser scanning technology, we have developed the virtual simulation teaching system in field practice of botany by virtual roaming. By using 3D laser scanning, we could obtained real 3D point cloud data including trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants about 150 species of plants on field practice route. On the 3D data processing platform, we could finally realize virtual roaming by importing point cloud data, integrating location coordinates of these plants, measuring data, clear morphological characteristics diagram and coupling with voice explanation and text description. We have completed the 1 km development of virtual simulation teaching system in field practice of botany in Maoershan National Forest Park and Laoyeling National Ecological Station, Northeast Forestry University. These gave users real experience and realized virtual teaching.
