抗战时期,中国马克思主义民族史学应运而生。马克思主义史学家不仅创造性地发展了民族史的理论,而且拓展了民族史的史料,并以此书写了中国的民族史。由于马克思主义民族史理论着眼于为现实服务,也使得民族史的研究偏重于民族之间的斗争和同化层面,而忽略了其他方面的特征。

During the War of Resistance Against Japan,the Chinese Marxist ethnic history emerged as the times required. Marxist historians not just creatively developed the theory of ethnic history,but also expanded the historical data,based on which they wrote the Chinese ethnic history. Owing to the view to serving the reality,Marxist ethnic history lays emphasis on the struggle and assimilation between different nations regardless of other aspects.
