The year 2020 marks the 250th anniversary of Beethoven＇s birth and Germany will hold a series of com- memorative activities from December 16th, 2019 to December 17th, 2020, or the 250th birthday of Beethoven. During this year, the whole country will carry out various art and cultural activities, in order to show a new un- derstanding of Beethoven from differ- ent perspectives and highlight his his-torical value and relevance to today.
