＂The Ageless Sanmao＂ is one of the ＂Masterpieces and Classics＂ event series hosted by the Center of International Cultural Exchange of China in different foreign countries. Sanmao is a cartoon character created by Zhang Leping in 1935. The comic cartoons tell the story of an upright, brave, kind-hearted and humorous boy named Sanmao, who lives mostly in misery and stark poverty during the times of war, colonization, and inflation. He has ever since remained one of the most famous and beloved fictional characters for generations in China.
