摘要 I think the understanding by Mr. Ma Hengjun, professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing Normal Universivy, comes the closest to what Confucius meant by saying "A man of noble character is without tool": A man of noble character shall try to be an all-around person. However, if everyone wants to be an "all-around" person, who will be "specialists" and "craftsmen"?
