摘要 美国国防高级研究计划局(DARPA)正在为视频和图像检索分析工具(VIRAT)项目寻求解决方案。该项目的总体目标是开发一个系统,用来视频数据开发,使分析人员能够从数据库中迅速找到感兴趣的视频内容,并在对视频内容现场操作分析中,为分析人员提供警报信息。本文主要从该项目的背景情况、关键技术、主要任务以及项目阶段做了详细的阐述。 The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency(DARPA) is seeking innovative solutions for the Video and Image Retrieval and Analysis Tool(VIRAT) program. The overall program goal is to develop and demonstrate a system for video data exploitation that enables an analyst to rapidly find video content of interest from archives and to provide alerts to the analyst of events of interest during live operations. The program motivation,key technology and technology areas are introduced in this text.
