数据馆员及其对高校图书馆职能转型的影响

Data Librarian and its Impact on the Function Transformation of University Library

数据密集型时代,图书馆作为数据中心的职能不容忽视。在前期调查数据馆员岗位设置需求的基础上,调研了50所国外高校数据馆员岗位设置、职责、任职条件情况,以及国内高校在这方面的尝试,分析数据馆员的角色定位及其对图书馆职能转型的影响,进而提出高校图书馆职能转型的几大实践方向,以期为中国高校图书馆开展数据管理和研究服务提供参考。

In the data-intensive era, the function of library as a data center can not be ignored. Based on the previous survey about the needs of data librarian, this paper investigated the position setting, responsibility and qualifications of data librarian in 50 foreign universities, as well as some attempts in domestic universities, and analyzed the role of data librarian and its impact on the function transformation of library, and put forward several practical directions, with the purpose to provide reference for libraries to carry out data management and research service.
