Deep vein thrombosis or hemorrhage is a kind of serious or life-threatening complication of patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma. This article gives a review on the etiology, prophylaxis and treatment methods of this complication, emphasing the specificity of multiple myeloma combined with coagulation disorders in order to enhance clinicians understanding about it.
