摘要
抗战时期,文艺界掀起了关于"民族形式"的论争。论争范围由文学扩展到戏剧、木刻等艺术领域。在此背景下,以"旧剧改革"为主要内容的抗战地方戏批评逐渐在陪都戏剧界展开。随着讨论的深入,批评界较早地对戏曲的本质、地方戏的起源与发展等问题进行了考察,这是陪都"民族形式"论争的"意外收获",对于我们认识地方戏的价值、梳理地方戏的源流,乃至追溯中国戏曲的起源等问题有着不容忽视的理论意义。
