专利布局是企业根据自身商业战略和市场竞争环境,申请合理数量和结构的专利组合的过程。本文探讨了企业专利布局工作的本质,从企业如何构思和启动专利布局、专利布局的思考原则、专利布局的基本方法和预期结果等实践中,提出"345"专利布局方法体系(三个原则,四个步骤,五种结果),并对专利组合申请的注意事项进行了提醒,供企业专利工作者参考和探讨。

Building up the patent portfolio is the process that the enterprise applying for a reasonable number and structure of patents according to its own business strategy and market competition environment. This paper discussed the essence of patent portfolio work, and raised the＂ 345＂patent portfolio method system（ three principles, four steps, five consequences） from the practice of how to conceive and initiate the patent portfolio, thinking the principles of patent portfolio, figuring out basic methods and expected results of the patent portfolio, and pointed out something to be noticed when enterprises build their patent protfolio.
