翻译家伍光建译介考论

WU-Guangjian's Role as an Outsranding Translator and Mediator in Modem China

我国近代翻译家伍光建曾译介西方文学著作百余种,得到了当时译界的大力推崇,但因其本人埋头翻译,著述极少,故沉寂于浩瀚译史不为人知,且因其在翻译中大量的删减改写而备受争议。本文通过考察伍光建在清末民初翻译场域中的位置,与出版商、赞助人等的客观关系结构,分析伍光建的译者惯习,多维度还原伍光建的西方小说译介历程,发掘其翻译理念以及他在近代翻译场域中的地位和影响,为当下中国文化翻译战略提供参考借鉴。

As a translator in modern Chinese history,WU-Guangjian translated more than one hundred pieces of western literature works,enjoying great fame nationwide. This paper aims to restore Wu-Guangjian's translating course multi-dimensionally by analyzing the literary field,and the habitus of the translator Wu-Guangjian,together with the way in which his social trajectories developed through Pierre Bourdieu's sociological theory. With the key notions of field and habitus,this paper explores WU-Guangjian's translating notions and his status and influence in the field of modern Chinese history,with a view to providing a reference for China's national translation strategy planning today.
