On Poetical and Aesthetical Re-creation in Translation of English Songs into Chinese

歌词的形式与诗歌相近,因而可以借鉴诗歌的翻译策略与方法。在正确理解歌曲内容的基础上,应充分考虑歌曲自身的音乐性,即旋律、节奏和音韵等因素。从许渊冲的诗歌翻译三美原则出发,内容上要传达原文的含义,同时要考虑到歌曲的类型,创作的背景;形式上要注意句子长短和对仗工整;音韵上要考虑声调语调以及韵律问题。三者融合贯通,才能达到歌词翻译审美再造的目的。

The form of songs is similar to the poetry, so we could use translation method of poetry totranslate English songs into Chinese. On the basic of understanding the content of songs, translatorsshould fully consider the musicality of songs, including melody, rhythm, tune and so on. On the basis of＂three beauties＂theory proposed by Xu Yuanchong, the translation should express the original meaningof content and consider the type and background of song;the translation should pay attention to thesentence length and balanced form;the translation should consider the tone, intonation and rhythm. All ofthese factors are integrated together, which could get the aim of the aesthetical re-creation of translation.
