摘要
胡适、陶行知等邀请杜威访华以来,杜威研究先后出现诸多意义不一的范式,这些范式多是围绕杜威教育理论本身展开分析,忽视了杜威这个人及其理论形成方式。这个人曾长期考察十九世纪末、二十世纪初美国剧烈社会变迁,探索美国社会需要什么样的"新教育"。如果像杜威这个人学习,便应考察当代中国近三十年剧烈社会变迁,分析当代中国社会急需何种"新教育",进而生产中国教育学。
Since the event of Dewey's visiting to China, the field of educational theory in China had witnessed many popular paradigms of studies in Dewey, However, these paradigms were almost all coming from reading the theories invented by Dewey, but neglecting the fact that Dewey was an observer of the drastic social transformation. From this sense, Chinese scholars should, like what Dewey had done, shift attention to the similar drastic social change in contemporary China, and be dedicated to producing Chinese educational theory.
