摘要
《呼啸山庄》在叙述男女主人公之间的情爱关系时,借用了柏拉图《会饮篇》中"人的自然",《圣经》中亚当和夏娃,以及古希腊神话《美狄亚》中伊阿宋与美狄亚的故事原型。从神话——原型批评的角度,通过应用原型批评的观点,文本对这3个神话原型的移用阐释了主人公之间纠葛的情爱关系,从而使文本爱恨交织主题的表现方式具有高度的创造性。
From the perspective of archetypal criticism, the loving relationship theme in Wuthering Heights was borrowed from Plato in the Symposium which tells the story of human nature, Adam and Eve in the Bible, and Medea and Jason＇ story in the ancient Greek myth as archetype. This essay concentrates on the analysis of the loving relation between Heathcliff and Catherine to explain the creative expression of the love-hate relation- ship in Wuthering Heights. Based on detailed analyses, it puts forward the conclusion that it is just a＂displace- ment＂ of the three archetypes in Wuthering Heights through the approach of archetypal criticism.
