非英语专业大学生书面语词汇与教学要求词汇的对比

A Lexical Comparison of College Students' English Writing and Teaching Requirements

本文对我国非英语专业大学生英语书面语词汇与《大学英语课程教学要求》词汇进行了对比分析。结果表明:学生英语书面语中使用的《要求》词汇仅占《要求》词汇总数的56.63%,但该部分词汇使用率高,占书面语总词数的96.3%;无论是积极词汇还是非积极词汇所使用的多为高频词,而《要求》以外所使用的词汇和没有使用的《要求》词汇以低频词为主;高频词在书面语中存在过度使用现象。本研究结果为大学英语教学提出了几点启示。

This paper compared the vocabulary in college students＇ English writing and the vocabulary re-quired in College English Curriculum Requirements （CECR）. The results show that the college students used on- ly 56.63% of the CECR words in their writing, but with high frequency, and that both active and non active words used were of high frequency while non CECR words used and those CECR words not used were low fre- quency words, and that high frequency words have been over used. A few implications have been put forward by the author based on the results.
