摘要
本文在斯图尔特·霍尔的文化表征理论下,从符号学的路径出发,将兰州黄河铁桥视为他者文化与文化表征的技艺符号,动态地解析其意义。首先,黄河铁桥是一个他者文化的表象符号,其内涵包容和开放,自我和他者能够统一在一个黄河铁桥的视觉文化符号里。其次,今天的黄河铁桥作为兰州城市的隐喻和象征,体现情感价值认同并建构城市集体文化记忆。另外,作为视觉文化符号的铁桥在其他文化景观中能够脱颖而出有其深刻的历史文化原因,并且对兰州市文化创意产业有一定的启发。
Based on the theory of Stuart Hall's cultural representation, this paper regards the Lanzhou Iron Bridge of the Yellow River as an art symbol of culture and cultural representation in a semiotics path so that its meanings can be analyzed dynamically. Firstly, the bridge is a visual symbol of other cultures, combining tolerance and openness, self and other together. Secondly, as a metaphor of Lanzhou culture, it reflects sentimental value identification and constructs collective cultural memory. In addition, the bridge will inspire Lanzhou's cultural industry for its deep historical reasons.
