“大漠孤烟直,长河落日圆”新解

A New Interpretation of "Solitary Smoke of Big Desert is Straight; Setting Sun on the Endless Flow is Round"

《使至塞上》为王维带来了巨大的声誉和无穷的赞美,但对于此诗的解读仍存在不同意见,特别是"大漠孤烟直,长河落日圆"两句。通过对全诗的具体分析,我们可以得出如下结论:一是"大漠"具体指巴丹吉林沙漠;二是"孤烟"指烽烟,即平安火;三是"长河"指川流在巴丹吉林沙漠中的弱水,即今额济纳河;四是王维写作此诗的具体地点是在居延塞上,既非途中,亦非初至凉州。

Through the detailed analysis of the whole poem, it can be Concluded that： firstly, big desert is just the Badanjilin Desert; sec- ondly, ＂ solitary smoke＂ beacon or security fire ; thirdly, ＂the endless flow＂ is just weak water of the Badanjilin Desert, namely Ejina River today ; fourthly, the exact location where Wang Wei wrote the poem was the frontier of Juyan, neither on the way to Liang＇Zhou nor on the first trip to Liang Zhou.
