Advancement of Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy for HIV/AIDS

高效抗逆转录病毒治疗(highly active antiretroviral therapy,HAART)是艾滋病最有效的治疗和预防方法。HAART药物作用于HIV复制周期的各靶点而有效抑制病毒复制,包括进入抑制剂(entry inhibitors)、逆转录酶抑制剂(reverse transcriptase inhibitors)、整合酶抑制剂(integrase inhibitors)、蛋白酶抑制剂(protease inhibitors)和药代动力学增效剂(boosters)。随着抗病毒药物数量和种类的不断问世,HAART方案不断更新,及早开始HAART并选择适宜的方案,可最大限度抑制病毒复制,重建患者免疫功能。HAART需根据患者情况进行治疗前评估、治疗后定期监测药物疗效和不良反应。

Highly active antiretroviral therapy（HAART） is the effective most treatment of patients with HIV/AIDS and preventing HIV transmission.Antiretroviral drugs act on each target of HIV replication cycle and inhibit HIV replication,including Entry inhibitors,Reverse transcriptase Inhibitors,Integrase inhibitors,Protease inhibitors and Boosters.As various types of antiretroviral agents and combined regimens have been developed and updated,early initiation of HAART with optimal regimen can effectively suppress virus replication and reconstruct the immune function of HIV/AIDS patients.Patient management should involve baseline evaluation,regular monitoring of drug efficacy and adverse reactions of treatment according to the specific situation of patients.
