Brief Review On Humanism of Richard Morison

理查德·莫瑞森是都铎王朝前期的重要人文主义者,却迟至20世纪晚期才被历史研究者重视。莫瑞森接受了人文主义教育,著文支持亨利八世镇压求恩巡礼骚乱,积极宣传和为宗教改革辩护,以新教徒身份支持爱德华六世的宗教改革,这体现了他忠君、讲究实用和世俗的人文主义思想及其与宗教改革产生的张力,推进了英国近代人文主义世俗化。

Richard Morison was an important humanist in Early Tudor Period, he was paid atlention by the historians until the end of the 20th century. Morison accepted the humanism education, writing for Henry VIII repressing Pilgrimage of Grace, positively propagandizing and deftnding for the Reformation, as a protestant supporting the Reformation of Edward VI, which represent his fidelity, pragmatism, secular humanism and the tension of Refomaation, which promte the development of Secularization of humanism in Early Modern England.
