Heidegger believes that there m once a reversal in people s understanding of what m truth, which deprives truth/aletheia of its original meaning as disclosure and makes it a fixed behavior, a normative attitude and something super-sensible. This reversal can be called the "discovery" of the truth in modern sense. Heidegger has rendered a restoration on the original meaning of truth and re-discovered aletheia through a phenomenological interpretation of Plato's Cave Metaphor.
