Clear Scientific Understanding of the Characteristics the Healthy Development of Small Towns

2016年以来,特色小镇成为各地在推进新型城镇化发展中的一项重要工作。本文从理论和实践双重角度出发,对特色小镇的特征进行了界定,并指出当前各地在特色小镇建设中出现了认识存在偏差、规划不科学、特色不突出等问题,需要通过科学认识、强化产业、实行创建制等方面来加强特色小镇建设的科学性。

Since 2016, the idea of building a characteristic town has been an important task for local governments to boost the development of urbanization. This essay defines core features of characteristic town theoretically and practically, as well as pointing out current possible issues when building a characteristic town, such as cognitive bias, unscientific planning, and featureless planning. In order to solve these problems, we need to enhance the scientificity of building a characteristic town by improving scientific understanding, strengthening industries, implying construction-approval system.
