摘要
旅游景区公共标识语代表一个城市的文化形象,它象征着这个城市乃至整个国家的国民素质和文化内涵。因此,公共标识语外文翻译质量的重要性是不言而喻的。在功能翻译理论的视角下,对连云港市景区公共标识语英译中存在的问题进行了归类和分析,并提出了相应的翻译策略,旨在提高景区标识语翻译的质量,提升城市形象。
Public signs in scenic spots are a city's cultural images and symbols of national qualities and cultural connotations of nations as well as cities.Therefore,Chinese- English translation quality of public signs is very important.Based on the perspective of functional translation theory,the paper classified and analyzed problems of public signs of Lianyungang in Chinese- English translation and put forward the corresponding translation strategies,aimed at improving the translation quality of public signs in scenic spots and enhancing the public image of the city.
