With the rapid development of the network technology and the new media, the output and the audience ofthe network novel have been increasing, and this is getting the attention of the film maker. A lot of network novelshave been adapted into films,which has promoted the influence of the novel itself. This article takes the movie ＂Tothe Youth＂ as an example, on the basis of elaborating the relationship between the network literature works and themovie, from the background, the plot, the character three aspects analyzes the movie adaptation of network novel ＂Tothe Youth ＂, from the perspective of communication, analyzes the reasons for the success of the networknovel adaptation.
