Author is very good at writing the fate of a small fig- ure under the great age and composing their story in a mourning and long song. Rootless anxiety plaguing these mainland- ers, the protagonist in the book begins his journey of roots. But seeking roots does not mean that will be able to find their own spirit, the suffering of the reunion changes flavor. Character of cultural conflict, the family of indifference, people of the calculation, extrusion of interest, let the root seeking tour seem to have become another exile, with endless heavy, al- so let a person see the vicissitudes of life.
