最高人民检察院检察长曹建明11月5日向第十二届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第二十四次会议作最高人民检察院“关于加强侦查监督、维护司法公正情况的报告”。曹建明表示，侦查监督包括审查逮捕、立案监督、侦查活动监督三项职能，是法律赋予检察机关的重要职责，也是中国特色社会主义检察制度的重要内容和鲜明特色，各项侦查监督工作取得新进展。
Cao Jianming, procurator general of the Supreme People＇s Procuratorate, reported on strengthening supervision over criminal investigation and maintaining judicial justice at the 24th Session of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People＇s Congress of the People＇s Republic of China on November 5. Cao Jianming said, supervision over criminal investigation, including three functions which respectively are arrest examination, case-filling supervision and supervision over criminal investigation activity, is an important duty entrusted by law to procuratorial organs as well as an important content and distinctive feature of the procuratorial system of socialism with Chinese characteristics. He also said that, new progress has been achieved in supervision over criminal investigation work.
