The paper researches the historical development and developing trend of the Chinese commercial health-keeping clubs.The Chinese health-keeping clubs originated in Guangzhou and Fujian provinces and experienced the development stages of burgeoning,exploration and steady development.Since the 21 st century,the commercial health-keeping clubs have entered the rapid development stage with explosive increase in quantity and quality.The health-keeping clubs will provide services of practice instructions,health-keeping practice and shower services and pay more attention on the customer＇s experiences and feelings in its future development.
