Peste des petits ruminants is based on small ruminants virus pathogens, with clinical manifestations such as fever, diarrhea, pneumonia, acute deadly infectious diseases. The disease occurs worldwide, caused heavy loss of the animal husbandry in China, constitute a great threat. This paper expounded the current situation and research progress of the disease from the epidemiology, clinical symptoms and pathological changes, diagnosis, prevention and control.
