The core system of the smart museum consists of the architectural or facility system, operation system, audience system, data communication system, and decision supporting system. The architecture or facility system is the source of data that alter regularly at a daily base. The operation system includes the acquisition, conser- vation, research and dissemination of museum collections. The audience system centers on audience servic- es. The data communication system is a communicating system that connects data terminal equipments, data transmission facilities, data exchange devices, and communication lines. The decision supporting system us- es information technologies to provide the decision makers with the needed data and background informa- tion, select, compare, and recognize issues that appear, assist identifying the targets, and present solution op- tions. The smart museum is believed to revolutionize the management, operation and service modes of the museum, which will transform the museum from an extensive management into a fine one.
