从《南洋商报》讣告文本看多元信仰形态对新马华人丧葬文化的影响

Study on The Influence of Multiple Forms of Religious Belief on Singapore and Malaysia Chinese Funeral Culture From“Nanyang shang Bao”(1951-1976)Obituary Text

新马华人在华文报纸上刊登"讣告"已成为当地华人约定俗成的丧葬习俗,这些"讣告"早已与传统中国社会的报丧文书不同,它在新马当地发展成为一个体系,继而成为一个独特的丧葬文化现象,"讣告"内容也为研究新马华人社会文化生活提供了一种特殊文本。《南洋商报》(1951—1976)报刊讣告文本数据反映了该时期新马华人宗教信仰形态是多元化的,不同宗教信仰形态对讣告内容处理的差别亦能从中折射出其对新马华人丧葬习俗在仪式内涵等方面的多重影响。

Singapore and Malaysia Chinese publishing＂obituary＂in the Chinese newspapers has become a local Chinese conventional funeral customs. These＂obituaries＂have been different from the traditional Chinese society＇s reporting instruments,it becomes a system in Malaysia and Singapore,and a unique funeral culture phenomenon,＂obituary＂contents also provide a special text for studying Singapore and Malaysia Chinese social and cultural life. According to the obituary information of＂Nanyang Shangbao＂（1951-1976）,the textual data reflects the diversity of the religious beliefs of the Singapore and Malaysians Chinese during this period. The differences in the contents of the obituaries in different religious beliefs can also reflect the multiple influences on the ritual connotations of the burial customs of the Chinese and Malaysians.
